Job Summary

At Somos, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Intern to join our team. As a key member of our quality engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and executing software test plans, performing functional system testing, and creating automated tests using JavaScript and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute software test plans to ensure the quality of Somos products.
  • Perform functional system testing at both the software and hardware level.
  • Create and execute automated tests using JavaScript and Python.
  • Document test processes and generate reports.

Requirements
  • Currently a junior or above pursuing a degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience or course work.
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience in version control system like git, bitbucket.
  • Proficiency in writing code in JavaScript and Python.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing Web-based software applications using React Native or equivalent.
  • Test framework experience such as Cucumber, Robot Framework etc.
