Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic 1st Shift Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.

You will work closely with our Lead Technicians, Fleet Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Managers to ensure the highest level of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems, including chassis, refuse bodies, air and hydraulic braking systems, engines, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.
  • Perform complex repair and maintenance functions, both on-site and on the road.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions using electronic tools and complete applicable company training programs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
  • Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in various heavy truck and automotive systems.
  • ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
  • LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License is a plus but not required.
