Learning Support Specialist

About the Position: The Merrimack School District SAU26 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to support students and implement Individual Educational Plans.
Job Goal: To provide academic and behavioral support to students, under the direction of certified educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Individual Educational Plans and other prescribed plans
- Provide academic support to students in various subjects
- Assist with classroom management and behavior interventions
- Maintain accurate records and reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
