Job Description

This full-time position involves performing quality assurance inspections and auditing to ensure that custom parts meet specifications. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment and a minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in using inspection tools, such as calipers and micrometers, is essential. Ability to interpret mechanical and weld drawings, communicate effectively, and work well in a team are also crucial skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing incoming inspections of custom parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Reviewing drawings and specifications to compare to produced goods.
  • Using precision instruments to ensure items meet drawing specifications.
  • Recording inspection results data into our quality database.
  • Documenting nonconformities and communicating results to interested parties.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of inspection tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and weld drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to adapt quickly to changes in workload and priorities.
  • Decision-making skills and ability to follow company policies and procedures.
Benefits

LACO Technologies offers a competitive salary range of $19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience.
