Position Summary

This role involves collaborating with a team of cloud computing specialists to swiftly develop and implement a demonstration capability, while concurrently assisting the program office in defining, designing, and deploying the final system. The development process will follow an iterative approach utilizing scrum methodologies, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders. The development team is expected to expand into a large-scale, enterprise-level development initiative. This position demands exceptional adaptability and technical expertise, as the work environment is dynamic with multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement in iterative software development teams while adhering to all reporting obligations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze requirements, user stories, and related documentation to establish technical specifications for system environments.
  • Coordinating with technical teams responsible for cloud hosting infrastructures to create and sustain the environments utilized for development, testing, and deployment of both the demonstration capability and the final production system.
  • Constructing, migrating, and testing AWS cloud environments and integrations.
  • Creating templates or scripts to automate routine developer or operational tasks.
  • Developing new automation solutions to enhance and maintain cloud hosting.
  • Monitoring and managing multiple cloud infrastructure environments based on client specifications.
  • Identifying innovative tools and processes to optimize cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating with remote team members to foster positive and productive team dynamics.
  • Developing, testing, and monitoring connections to interfacing systems, including data feeds from various organizations and user interactions from other sponsor organizations.
  • Coordinating with other programs to integrate enterprise services for use by the sponsor system.
  • As the program evolves, this role may require occasional on-call support outside of regular hours.
  • Creating technical documentation and presentation materials to support program status reviews, control gates, and other presentations as directed by program management.
Required Experience
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
  • Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Knowledge of physical server management and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cloud application architecture (AWS/Azure).
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Experience in large-scale system integration.
  • Ability to script for automation of developer or operational functions.
  • Expertise in maintaining environment and server configurations to industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience in developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to review and maintain environments at the latest security posture.
  • Experience in remediating application/package installations.
  • Capability in rapid prototyping to refine system requirements and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code design, management, and version control techniques.
  • Exposure to project management skills and project lifecycle models.
  • Understanding of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
