Position Overview: Beacon-Keystone is in search of dedicated and empathetic leaders to enhance the lives of the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Direct Care Staff to foster and maintain positive relationships with each individual and staff member.
  • Provide direct assistance to individuals in managing medical appointments, engaging in preferred activities, and attending to daily care needs.
  • Coordinate medical appointments for residents and accompany them as necessary.
  • Prepare weekly schedules for staff members.
  • Offer on-call support and assist with emergency staffing needs.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of structured activities for residents.
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals.
  • Guarantee that adequate supervision and support are consistently provided.
  • Ensure compliance with Beacon-Keystone policies and procedures within the group home.
  • Complete necessary documentation within the agency's electronic records system and ensure all staff members do the same.
  • Maintain accurate records, including employee attendance, individual daily logs, progress notes, and financial reporting for residents.
  • Manage the financial resources of the home and resident accounts in line with established guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure that all Direct Care Staff receive appropriate training and assess their ongoing training needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with a minimum of four years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Job Type:

  • Availability for Weekends and Holidays

Compensation:

  • Salary range of $20.50 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
