Job Responsibilities

As a Collision Repair Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Building strong relationships with clients while explaining necessary repairs and associated costs.
  • Assessing damaged vehicles and strategically planning the repair workflow.
  • Visually estimating vehicle damage.
  • Collaborating and communicating with team members regarding the status of vehicle repairs.
  • Calculating labor and painting expenses.
  • Evaluating the quality of repairs performed by technicians.
  • Finalizing repair orders upon completion of work.
  • Completing parts order sheets for all necessary components and researching alternative sources for hard-to-find parts.
  • Understanding insurance company procedures and ensuring the accuracy of repair estimates.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Collision Repair Specialist position, candidates should possess:

  • A solid understanding of the vehicle repair process as dictated by manufacturers.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret estimate data from insurance providers.
  • Proficiency in CDK management is essential.
  • Familiarity with the CCC1 estimating system is highly preferred.
  • I-Car Certification is desirable.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
