Note: Candidates should possess experience with manufacturing and packaging equipment in an aseptic environment and demonstrate hands-on capabilities in troubleshooting on-floor equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes while configuring manufacturing equipment and systems to minimize costs, boost sustainability, and establish best practices within production by leveraging systems engineering principles alongside chemistry, physics, and equipment engineering knowledge.
  • Address and resolve issues related to filling and packaging equipment to prevent operational downtime.
  • Develop and refine processes and methodologies for managing and troubleshooting technical challenges in manufacturing.
  • Ensure optimal equipment performance through prompt and effective resolution of production equipment issues to achieve targets for filling and packaging lines.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for filling and packaging line challenges concerning equipment, personnel, materials, and quality, implementing necessary changes to mitigate downtime.
  • Act as the technical authority for the designated area in filling or packaging operations.
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while enhancing production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeover processes.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Equipment, or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cGMPs and sanitary equipment design standards is essential.
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing processes and equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing is advantageous.
