About the Role

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Apprentice Optician to join our team of optical all-stars. As an Apprentice Optician, you will play a vital role in helping people see by becoming an expert on our brand and our glasses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Certified Optician mentor to learn and develop skills in meeting customers' eyewear needs.
  • Learn to take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Develop expertise in explaining prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional customer service and help customers choose the best frames and lenses based on their prescription needs, face fit, personal style, and lifestyle.
  • Represent our brand to educate others and promote our values and mission.
Requirements
  • Passionate about working in a medical-oriented role to help people see.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
