Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality audits on production lines to ensure product conformance
  • Operate various machines using software systems to measure precision machined dimensions and assembly tolerance stack-ups
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for dimensional improvements
  • Maintain quality documentation and support systems, including a clean and organized lab
  • Lead/assist with the strategy for product fixtures and mounting to be used during the measurement process
  • Generate inspection reports, capability studies, and DOE results based on measurement analysis
  • Interact with production teams to execute the flow through CMM labs
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects and participate in decision-making processes
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a technical or engineering program or equivalent experience
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with tight tolerances and interpret blueprint requirements, including GD&T
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and lean processes, particularly in the automotive industry
