Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain MRI Equipment: You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to obtain high-quality images of patients to diagnose the nature and extent of designated pathologies.
- Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort: You will ensure that patients are positioned and prepared for imaging procedures in a safe and comfortable manner, while also maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Develop and View Images: You will develop and view images to determine quality and forward them for review and interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, imaging results, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Education and Experience: You must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or other program acceptable to meet ARRT registration requirements.
- Certifications and Licenses: You must hold current certifications and licenses, including BLS, ARRT registration in Radiography and MS Medical Radiology Technician license, and ARRT registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging within 24 months of start.
This role requires constant exposure to bio-hazardous conditions, frequent work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, occasional climbing, occasional crawling, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, occasional sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking.
