Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and design electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing
  • Develop and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing
  • Oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation of ASIC development
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
  • Define module interfaces and formats for simulation
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use
  • Work in an area of specialization to develop ASIC/layout design, working on problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 18 months of experience in job offered or closely related engineering role
  • Programming with Python, MS SQL Server, SQL, and Git
