Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a dedicated Solo Non CDL Driver to join our team in North Wales, PA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely driving a vehicle within a 80-mile radius of Owings Mill, MD, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a vehicle within a designated route and ensure timely delivery of freight
  • Comply with safety regulations, including hours of service and vehicle maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to the maintenance team
  • Load and unload freight as required by the customer
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and background check
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
