Project Overview:

PRS is seeking a seasoned Ground Up Construction Superintendent to lead our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our construction team, you will oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and project specifications.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Travel: Be willing and able to travel to various job sites across Texas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in ground-up construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required by project locations.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP) are a plus.
