Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse is required to collaborate with the Assertive Community Treatment team to ensure that doctor's orders are followed by patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

About HealthPort:
HealthPort is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center offering outpatient therapy, substance abuse, and primary care services. Our mission is to provide caring, effective, and highly accessible healthcare to all residents of the Eastern Shore who seek our services.

Salary Information:
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours but paid for 40 hours. We offer a competitive salary estimated at around $85,000 per year, plus a rich benefit package including tuition assistance, 401(k) matching, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Using electronic medical records, input data and follow through on seeing services to their completion.
  • Review and ensure doctors' orders are being followed by clients.
  • Confirm medication compliance and medications are refilled timely.
  • Provide health promotion and training as requested.
  • Provide skilled nursing services based on the needs of the clients.

Qualifications:
  • Credentials as Registered Nurse (RN) authorized under Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, with current license and insurance or at least two years' clinical experience and plans to achieve credentials above.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
  • Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Privileged to carry out all duties, including client treatment coordination.
  • Driver's license and good driving record.
