Human Resources Liaison for Program Excellence

Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Human Resources Support Specialist (HRSS) to serve as the primary program liaison between our Human Resources Department, program management, and staff. The successful candidate will develop strong partnerships with HR staff to align HR operations with employee and program needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level support to assigned programs, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration;
- Maintain current knowledge of program needs and obligations, ensuring compliance with contract and funding source requirements;
- Collaborate with the HR management team to identify and address administrative and operational needs;
- Participate in regular team meetings and maintain open communication with assigned programs and staff;
- Serve as the first-level representative for employee relations issues, including grievances and complaints;
- Conduct initial interviews and forward to HRBP, program, or HR management;
- Work closely with management and employees to strengthen work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;
- Provide HR policy guidance and information;
- Drive employee engagement through effective communication and employee events;
- Initiate resolution of HRIS/payroll system issues;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field; OR five or more years of demonstrated work history in a related field/business;
- Two or more years of experience in a human resources role or office support role;
- Basic understanding and knowledge of all aspects of human resources;
- Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively;
- Ability to be agile, adaptable, and comfortable in an ever-changing environment;
- Ability to multitask various assignments and projects;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple responsibilities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Industry experience is a plus.
- Competitive hourly wage: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour;
