Overview

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Step Down & Stroke team at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with complex neurological needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to ensure seamless transitions and effective discharge planning.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current valid North Carolina nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • One year of acute nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or neuro step-down setting.
