Overview

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Step Down & Stroke team at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where high acuity patients receive exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring timely and efficient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Provide high-quality patient care based on established standards of practice, policies, and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of acute nursing experience, preferably in a Neuro Step Down & Stroke unit.
