Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor 3rd Shift Leader to join our team at Alpha Baking Company, Inc. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and operational management skills to oversee the production process and ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Control and Quality Assurance: Monitor equipment settings and operations to maintain proper functionality according to company standards, and control process standards for mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure adequate material supply to meet production requirements, and maintain communication with department head regarding employee, equipment, process control, quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
  • Employee Development and Training: Conduct training for hourly employees on job functions, Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, and company policies, and provide counsel and discipline employees as needed to maintain a safe, sanitary, and productive workplace.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete required documents and reports accurately and on time, and address and resolve employee grievances at the initial level.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Assist other departments as needed, and perform other assigned duties.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work on feet for entire shift.
  • Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Work in high ambient temperatures.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), good communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience: 3 years of manufacturing experience, 1 year of supervisory experience.
