We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Collections Professional to join our team at SCA Health.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for medical collections and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, generating statements, and resolving payment issues in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patient accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and payment from primary and secondary payers as well as self-pay patients
  • Generate daily patient statements and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Function within the center's policies and procedures, supporting SCA Values, SCA Vision, and SCA Mission
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • (5) years experience with medical collections preferred
  • Medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT knowledge required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills and a strong understanding of contract comprehension
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining confidentiality
  • A positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $16.54/Hr. to $29.90/Hr., based on experience and qualifications. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.
