Job Overview:
Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, administering, and maintaining our network and server infrastructure.

About the Job:
The purpose of this position is to provide support within the Information Technology department with systems, database, and application administration. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be working closely with the applications team to ensure smooth operation of our applications. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services, SAN infrastructure, and data communication lines. Additionally, you will participate in group testing and develop disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems.

Responsibilities:
* Design and administer network infrastructure* Deploy and support various server-based operations systems including VMware, vSphere, and Microsoft Windows Server* Manage and monitor Windows Servers* Manage and maintain Remote Desktop Services* Assist Applications Administrator with applications that are deployed with RDS* Manage and monitor SAN infrastructure* Manage and monitor data communication lines* Participate in a group testing and develop disaster recovery plans* Provide troubleshooting/support to applications group for network and server performance* Interact with technical staff to ensure the safe and proper installation of cabling, wiring, and other electrical hardware* Provide on-call technical support* Provide 3rd level support for trouble tickets* Provide skills on new and on-going projects* Primary resource for securing networks and server infrastructure* Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Requirements:
* Prefer Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience* Advanced working knowledge of Remote Desktop Services* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server 2019 and 2022* Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting and vSphere CLI* In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with VMware vSphere* Strong working knowledge of Cisco CLI* Hands-on experience in planning, designing, installing, documenting, and troubleshooting server and network infrastructure, including Router/Switch/Firewall/VPN/SDWAN/Wireless infrastructure* Good interpersonal, organizational, oral communication skills. Customer service oriented* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with root cause analysis* Works independently, as well as, within a team with close attention to details, with minimum supervision* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks* Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure/manuals* Highly self-motivated and directed* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment* Willing to learn new technologies quickly* Train technical support staff on new technologies and common systems-related problems* Proficient in Office 365, ADFS/SAML 2.0, and AzureAD* Experience with Nessus and resolving vulnerabilities* Required to work after normal business hours and weekends to minimally disrupt business as needed* Ability to travel required, typical travel is 20-25%* Advanced working knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing, VLAN, OSI Model, VoIP, and ISCSI preferred* Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
