Position Overview:

We are in search of a Lead Accounting Analyst who will oversee accounting, financial analysis, and cash management for designated projects and processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to enhancing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the monthly general ledger closing activities for solar, wind, and battery projects
  • Evaluate project outcomes and offer strategic recommendations
  • Manage cash flow assessments for various operational processes
  • Ensure precise account reconciliations for active projects and financing arrangements
  • Support business expansion efforts through asset onboarding and development initiatives
  • Review contractual agreements for appropriate accounting treatment and develop new operational processes
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, auditors, and business partners
  • Assist in the rollout of new accounting systems and internal controls
  • Ensure adherence to debt covenants and relevant accounting standards
  • Address ad hoc inquiries and participate in special projects as required
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of six years of pertinent experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft applications
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
