We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Risk Specialist to join our Risk Management Department at Inventrust Properties Corp. in Downers Grove, IL.
Key Responsibilities:- Tenant and Vendor Management: Manage the day-to-day functions of tenant and vendor insurance certificate management, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Data Management: Support the collection, analysis, and input of exposure data for the company's property portfolio, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Risk Management Information System: Assist in compiling data from various sources to maintain an accurate ownership and exposure base, ensuring seamless data integration.
- Certificate Database: Obtain certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors and timely file within the Accounts Payable system, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years' experience in commercial insurance.
- Skills: General knowledge of commercial insurance policies, including property, business interruption, general liability, workers' compensation, automobile, flood, cyber, and bonds.
- Software Proficiency: Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office.
- Personal Qualities: High level of motivation, drive, self-management, and effective interpersonal skills.
