**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients, under their direct supervision, including retrieving hot packs and/or cold packs, setting up exercise machines, monitoring exercise repetitions/form, and cleaning up after patients and therapists.
  • Adhere to work schedules, which may vary from day to day depending on patient need, including early morning hours, evening hours, and Saturday hours.
  • Perform front desk duties, including answering the phone, scheduling patients, patient registration, insurance verification, charge entry, payment posting, and daily reconciliation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, including laundry, towels, and equipment.
  • Attend monthly clinic staff meetings and maintain current CPR certification.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

**Physical Demands**

  • Medium strength requirement, with the ability to assist with resistive activities.

**Skills**

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, and the general public.
