Premier Orthopaedics is a leading orthopaedic practice with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists in the treatment of non-Medicare patients, under direct supervision, including retrieving hot packs and/or cold packs, setting up exercise machines, monitoring exercise repetitions/form, and cleaning up after patients and therapists.
- Adhere to work schedules, which may vary from day to day depending on patient need, including early morning hours, evening hours, and Saturday hours.
- Perform front desk duties, including answering the phone, scheduling patients, patient registration, insurance verification, charge entry, payment posting, and daily reconciliation.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment by doing laundry, ensuring towels and gowns are clean and folded, and continually cleaning plinths and equipment.
- Attend monthly clinic staff meetings or obtain a copy of the written agenda from the Center Manager.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
- Medium strength required to assist with resistive activities.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, physicians, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
