Parts Counter Person Job Description

The Ford Store Morgan Hill is a family-owned and operated Ford dealership seeking a full-time Parts Counter Person to join our expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, and offer specials.
  • Pull purchases from stock and determine availability for emergency orders.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and assist outside sales representatives with orders.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
  • Verify "will call" and "back order" files weekly and return to vendors or stock items not required.
  • Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs.
  • Order parts not in stock and notify customers of received parts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in automotive parts sales (preferred).
  • Weekend availability.
