Fleet Diesel Mechanic

Walpole, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Okeechobee, FL terminal. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine problems, including after-treatment issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
• Participate in safety and educational training programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
• ASE/EVT certifications preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred but not required)
