Faculty Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a Faculty Physician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and contributing to the academic mission of our institution.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality ophthalmological care to patients with various eye diseases and conditions.
- Conduct eye examinations, consultations, and surgeries, as well as teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in clinical and translational research activities, quality improvement projects, and administrative duties within the department and hospital.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance knowledge in ophthalmology and visual neurosciences.
- M.D. degree or foreign equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Ophthalmology residency and a one-year Cornea and External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship.
- Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
- Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice licensure.
- Ability to maintain DEA certification in Minnesota.
- Experience or interest in clinical research and other scholarly activities.
