Job Overview

Position: Automotive Lubrication Specialist

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks as detailed in the service order with precision and effectiveness, adhering to both dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Promote and provide lubrication services, safety inspections, and additional related offerings.
  • Maintain detailed records for regular clientele, ensuring timely follow-ups through calls, mail, or personal reminders.
  • Drain and replace engine oil, ensuring the correct volume is used.
  • Change oil and air filters as necessary.
  • Evaluate vehicle fluid levels, replenishing or replacing as required.
  • Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
  • Apply specified lubricants to moving components.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary items.
  • Report any equipment defects or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Document all services performed on the service order accurately.
  • Engage in training programs sponsored by manufacturers as directed by the service manager.
  • Stay informed about technical bulletins from manufacturers.
  • Ensure that customers' vehicles are maintained in a clean condition, reporting any changes in appearance or condition to the service advisor immediately.
  • Keep the work area organized and tidy.
  • Be responsible for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in their original condition.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Immediately report any safety concerns to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
