About the Role

As a Medical Support Specialist at BioLife Plasma Services, you will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will also provide medical support to donors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. You will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment and follow guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provide center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements, current licensure or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN, and Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification. You will also fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy, satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist, and have two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
