Job Summary

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Radiology Department, ensuring high-quality imaging services are delivered to patients. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and leadership to imaging modalities, including Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Radiology Administration.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure quality comprehensive imaging services are delivered.
  • Develop and implement goals and objectives to maximize staff utilization and productivity, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize employee and patient satisfaction results, recommending and implementing action plans for improvement.
  • Validate departmental orientation, skills fairs, technical and support competencies, and staff development annually.
  • Define and monitor measurable outcomes that are evidence-based, including Safety Promise, Safety Zone Portal, TeleTracking, Turnaround Times, ACR Accreditation, and Joint Commission.
  • Assist in the selection and supervision of personnel, including timely completion of all functions in Lawson HR and Performance Management applications.
  • Assist with budget development and monitoring of variances.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Healthcare, Preferred: 3 years or more of clinical experience with leadership activities.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registry/Listing: ARRT (R) | Radiologic Technologist - Dx, BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider, Credentialed in a relevant field of radiologic technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other licensing body for imaging (MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Interventional).
