Job Overview

Goldfish Swim School MFO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our rapidly growing franchise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our swim school, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School standards.
  • Manage staff to achieve high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Train and oversee aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction to students.
  • Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff.
  • Direct retail and vending departments to ensure proper product mix and pricing.
  • Train and oversee private party staff to maintain Goldfish Swim School standards.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in Sales Force software to achieve high competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in Goldfish Swim School pool operations to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.
  • Initiate and oversee workplace employee activities to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Direct implementation of Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures.
  • Maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date professionally on aquatics and management.
  • Schedule staff and manage payroll.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent desired.
  • Three to five years of management experience preferred.
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required.
Work Environment

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
