The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning is committed to providing top-notch services to children with speech and language disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our licensed therapists in evaluating and treating students with IEPs for speech and language services.

About the Position

This 1099 contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic therapy team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. You will work directly with pediatric populations, assisting in therapy sessions, implementing treatment plans, and providing vital support to facilitate their progress and development.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual with a passion for helping children with speech and language challenges. Your expertise in speech therapy techniques and methodologies, including experience with therapy materials and tools, will be essential in this role.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field, with certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for SLPA certification. Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed SLPs in conducting therapy sessions with students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Implement treatment plans and therapy techniques as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and responses to therapy activities.
  • Collaborate with SLPs to adjust treatment strategies based on individual student needs.
