Key Responsibilities:- Provide empathetic direct care services, ensuring the safety, well-being, and emotional health of each child.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of Bilingual Youth Care Workers, cultivating a collaborative and empowering atmosphere.
- Manage daily operations and activities of the team, ensuring a structured, nurturing, and effective care environment.
- Advocate for the children, ensuring their needs, concerns, and aspirations are represented by the team.
- Conduct training sessions, knowledge-sharing, and skill development workshops for team members.
- Collaborate with the Child Experience Manager and other leaders to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Address escalated situations or conflicts, providing solutions and guidance.
- Offer regular feedback and evaluations to team members, supporting their professional growth.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 3 years of post-high school experience working directly with youth, preferably in care or educational environments.
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in guiding or mentoring teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to working with children.
- Capability to manage challenging situations with tact, patience, and diplomacy.
- Understanding of child development and trauma-informed care is an advantage.
