Occupational Therapist Assistant

Ahava Therapy Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Adamsville Healthcare & Rehab Center. As a PRN OTA, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy treatments to residents, assisting the occupational therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures, and maintaining accurate records of treatments and progress notes.
Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans.
- Assist the occupational therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress notes.
- Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned.
- Access continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical currency.
- Adhere to company and facility policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license or eligible for support under statutes in the state of practice.
- BLS CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation.
