**Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and implement automation systems, including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.
* Manage and mentor a team of robotics and controls engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity.
* Oversee the programming and integration of robotics and control systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards, incorporating best practices into our operations.
* Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and specifications, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, providing technical guidance and support to the team.
* Establish and implement training programs to enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality equipment and components.
* Ensure all automation systems and processes comply with safety regulations and standards.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics and controls engineering in the manufacturing industry.
* Proficient in PLC, HMI, and Robotics programming, with hands-on experience with Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Ethernet IP, and Fanuc.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and leading technical teams.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong technical acumen.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
* Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards.
* Commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry.
* Ability to travel as needed to support project implementation and system troubleshooting.
* Professional Engineering (PE) license or Certified Automation Professional (CAP) certification is a plus.
