Overview:

Experience in physician recruitment is highly valued, particularly for candidates familiar with the ACNW/Springdale campus. In-state travel, along with occasional out-of-state travel, is a requirement. AAPPR certification is preferred.

Collaborate with the physician recruitment team at Arkansas Children's to establish a continuous and effective candidate pipeline through strategic research, database exploration, networking, and fostering relationships with academic graduate medical education programs across the United States, as well as conducting online searches. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify both active and passive candidates while generating market insights for all positions, with a focus on the Northwest campus. Oversee online advertising for physician roles.

As a vital member of the Talent Acquisition Team, your primary objective will be to implement creative strategies that enhance candidate generation and develop a strong candidate pipeline to fulfill existing vacancies across various functional areas. Engage with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to comprehend position requirements and devise sourcing strategies. Proactively evaluate and identify candidates to elevate the talent pool at Arkansas Children's. Deliver exceptional customer service to applicants and candidates by ensuring timely sourcing and facilitating the transition of applicants to Talent Acquisition Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and department leaders to grasp position specifications and formulate sourcing strategies aligned with available tools and resources.
  2. Source candidates through a mix of active and passive methods, including job postings on relevant job boards, direct outreach to candidates, organizing recruitment events, and managing referral programs.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations to craft and enhance branding and marketing materials that attract potential candidates to consider Arkansas Children's as their preferred employer.
  4. Embody the core values of Arkansas Children's: Safety, Teamwork, Compassion, and Excellence, which guide our mission and vision.
  5. Engage with prospective candidates regarding opportunities at Arkansas Children's, screen candidates for suitability, and facilitate their transition from sourcing leads to active candidates.
  6. Stay updated on best practices in candidate sourcing and recommend new sourcing technologies.
  7. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned hospital departments and roles through research, job shadowing, and interaction with department managers.
  8. Handle sensitive and confidential information related to personnel, financial, strategic, and business matters with utmost discretion.
  9. Utilize various search resources (social media, internal databases, job boards, networking, etc.) to maintain a steady flow of candidates across diverse job families.
  10. Generate and maintain metrics, data, and analyses to assess the effectiveness of social media recruitment efforts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Team to align sourcing with recruitment and retention metrics.
