Overview:

Responsible for overseeing and enhancing all sales initiatives within the designated region. This role involves managing a sales team and providing strategic direction to achieve optimal profitability and growth in alignment with the company's mission and values. Develops strategies and plans to broaden the customer base in the area and plays a key role in creating training and educational resources for clients and Sales Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support the current inside sales team. Design Short Term Incentive Programs to maintain motivation within the Inside Sales Team. Collaborate with Human Resources to formulate performance enhancement plans, including potential staff transitions. Establish an effective inside sales schedule that prioritizes customer service. Organize the reception area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Manage the Non-Stocked Item (NSI) Process. Oversee the NSI Process: Sales representatives submit Reorder Requests for non-stocked items, which the manager reviews and approves. Ensure requests are submitted by the end of Thursday to facilitate regional organization. Conduct weekly meetings with Regional Sales Managers to evaluate NSI requests. Make decisions based on customer size, purchasing history, item value, and potential profit. Communicate approvals and denials to sales representatives via email. Forward approved requests to the buyer for procurement. Monitor the purchasing process and inform the sales representative upon product arrival. Ensure all NSI items are shipped the following day.

Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience in Food Service sales management. Preference for local candidates within the defined geographic area. Must possess Food Service experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Extensive background in Relationship Management. Strong comprehension of Food Service clientele and market dynamics. Willingness to travel and collaborate with a team of Food Service professionals. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a track record of driving a Food Service sales team.
