About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our dynamic team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to defined tumor volumes.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans, ensuring accurate delivery of prescribed doses.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Work closely with a team of medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal training program in medical dosimetry and board-certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
  • 3+ years of experience in medical dosimetry, with a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
