We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a supportive and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a safe and effective manner, promoting quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical staff, nursing staff, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to drive the care coordination process and facilitate continuity of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to identify and resolve potential barriers to care.
- Participate in lifelong learning to maintain knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
- Engage in ethical practices, maintain therapeutic relationships, and contribute to a supportive and healthy work environment.
- 12 months RN experience required.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in nursing and 1 year of experience.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within one year of employment as required by department.
