Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Safe Harbor Marinas LLC. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchens, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen facilities, adhering to government and company sanitation standards.
• Clean all kitchen surfaces, sweep and mop the kitchen floor, put away dishes, pots, pans, and organize food.
• Ensure all dishes are adequately sanitized by maintaining required water temperature and chemical levels.
• Wash and dry dishes, either by hand or using the dishwasher, and polish silverware.
• Assist the cook with food preparation, including organizing the refrigerator and freezer, chopping vegetables, washing fruit, defrosting meat, and prepping sauces and marinades.
• Prepare full dishes, such as salads, under the direction of the supervisor.
• Be available to work overtime when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

• Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.
• Report all accidents, injuries, spills, and near misses immediately.

Technical and Physical Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, and reach.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
