Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Coordinator to join our team at Latitude 1 Maritime. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files using effective filing systems.
  • Office Expenses: Monitor and manage office expenses, including contracts for office rentals, services, and supplies.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform basic accounting tasks and update our accounting system as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage office and warehouse supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
  • Vendor Relations: Assist with managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Warehouse Support: Provide support in the warehouse as needed.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate and organize office operations and procedures.
  • Procedures and Policies: Develop and implement office procedures and policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve general problems and issues.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to other teams as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise team members as required.
  • Executive Support: Provide support to our CEO with various tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understand basic accounting principles and office management systems.
  • Office Experience: Proven experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office, back-office software, and accounting software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (desired).
  • Reliability: Trustworthy with patience and professionalism.
