About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Baystate Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders that affect breathing in adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with respiratory issues and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct diagnostic cardiopulmonary evaluations and administer respiratory therapy treatments
  • Analyze data from diagnostic tests and specimens to inform patient care
  • Apply therapeutics to respiratory care, including medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, and invasive mechanical ventilation
  • Assess patient progress, make adjustments to therapy as needed, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in disease management of acute and chronic diseases, collaborative support of hemodynamics, discharge planning, and case management
