Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes to inform business decisions.
    • Conduct regular reviews of financial performance, identifying key trends and variances to optimize profitability.
    • Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership to drive growth and manage costs effectively.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and variance analysis, to stakeholders.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and maintain robust internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
  • Operational Support:
    • Analyze labor and cost metrics to align operations with financial objectives and improve efficiency.
    • Monitor inventory and ensure accurate COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) reporting through periodic reviews.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis:
    • Provide in-depth financial analyses and recommendations on demand for leadership and department heads to inform strategic decisions.
    • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies promptly to maintain accuracy and transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in FP&A, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency with tools like Excel and Restaurant365.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
