Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Program Worker to join our team at the Southwest Developmental Center in Batavia, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities of daily living
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
