Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct annual and consolidated financial statement audits of companies in the financial services industry, focusing on banks and credit institutions.
  • Analyze business models, processes, and results to support the audit and evaluation of business organization and handling all issues related to accounting, valuation, risk control, and management.
  • Audit credit, custody, and securities transactions, as well as prepare statements on regulatory topics.
  • Participate in special projects in the regulatory environment and regular and ad-hoc special audits according to § 44 of the German Banking Act on behalf of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
Requirements:
  • Degree in economics, (business) informatics, or (business) mathematics.
  • Initial work experience through relevant internships or a banking apprenticeship is highly desirable.
