Job Summary:
Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our employer-based direct care clinic in Sunnyvale, CA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing primary care and clinical leadership, driving outcomes, and developing policies and guidelines to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and prescribe medical treatment.
- Provide high-quality, person-focused, and comprehensive health care services to patients.
- Oversee clinical practices and procedures at the site(s).
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Drive outcomes for the site across clinical programs.
- Develop and implement policies and guidelines to improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with the DCO and operations team to drive member engagement and increased utilization.
- Demonstrate clinical subject matter expertise and serve as a collaborative physician for advanced practice providers.
Requirements:
- Education: Licensed to practice medicine in each state of practice/oversite, Federal DEA license, State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license (if required), and current board certification (ABMS, AMA, or AOA) or board eligibility.
- Experience: 3-5 years in family practice, emergency room, ambulatory care, or occupational health settings, and minimum 3 years management/leadership experience within the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills, superior verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and knowledge and experience with electronic medical records.
Compensation:
Estimated California annual compensation for full-time status is $340,000 to $360,000. Please note that this is a general guideline, and your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
