We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary Foreign Language Teacher to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education, capable of creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment, and dedicated to helping students develop language skills and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive foreign language curriculum for elementary students.
  • Lesson Planning: Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote active learning and language acquisition.
  • Instruction: Teach fundamental language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Cultural Exposure: Introduce students to various cultures associated with the language being taught.
  • Adaptability: Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assessment: Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to promote a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Foreign Language, or a related field.
  • Certification: Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Foreign Language Education.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching foreign language to elementary students is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Passion: A commitment to inspiring a love of languages and cultural awareness in students.
