Senior Avionics Systems Engineer

Venturi Astrolab, Inc. is a pioneering company in the field of planetary exploration. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team.
As a Senior Avionics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing avionics systems for our lunar surface missions. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop avionics systems for lunar surface missions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
- 5+ years of experience in spacecraft systems design and/or avionics component design
- Preferred Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Experience in one or more of: analog/digital circuits, embedded firmware, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), serial and parallel communication protocols, Ethernet, Spacewire, RS-422, and other communication protocols
- Experience in avionics screening techniques and standards, including shock, vibe, thermal, and radiation
