Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team at Verbal Behavior Associates. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will work one-on-one with children with special needs to support their communication, self-help, social, and play skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help your clients acquire new skills
  • Tracking and sharing your clients' progress by collecting behavior data and recording clinical notes
  • Attending ongoing development and training to strengthen your skills and our team's services

We offer a stable and flexible work environment, with consistent weekly schedules and competitive hourly rates. As a Behavior Interventionist with Verbal Behavior Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions not accepted)
  • Ability to pass a TB test and Live Scan background check
